Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino – taste premium indulgence

Nevada Resorts and Hotels are rated as one of the best in the world and Mandalay Bay Resort is one of its prominent hotels and casinos. It is an American casino complex at the south end of the Las Vegas Strip in Las Vegas , Nevada. Divided into two towers, the eastern tower and the western tower, it has over 4766 rooms and suites, and considered as one of the grandest hotels of Las Vegas! The property’s signature feature is its golden glazing façade, offering the best vacation experience to date.

The towers share the facility of pools and an artificial beach with shaft. "Mandalay Bay" is famously associated with one of the largest conference centers in the world, the "Events Center” – a massive hall equipped with 12000 seating space; a theater, "House of Blues" - a club and a restaurant among many other restaurants; a huge aquarium - plant "Shark Reef" and the store Passage "Mandalay Place”, which shares the same dealer of Luxor Hotel. 
 
Mandalay Bay has had its share of media acclaim when it was featured as the backdrop in fictional Montecito of the hit television series. Also, an essential part of the plot in the song Me and My Monkey by Robbie Williams is picturized at the Mandalay Bay.

On a more personal note, I spent a July weekend at this lovely Vegas luxury resort, after a friend visited the Hotel with his family, and provided his highest recommendation. I was checked in for the 36th floor room that was angled in a way to give a brilliant overview of the hotel. I knew I was in for premium indulgence, the second I stepped in the tall building of this marvelous resort. 
 
Its sprawled magnanimously over a huge expanse of land, with impressive architecture and ambiance. It entails almost everything, from salons, shops, spas, pools and bars, you name it! Bars out there sport a great daiquiri’s to cool you down from the heat. Also, the gaming area is pretty huge and features variety. There is absolutely no need to step out of the resort, when one has everything at our disposal. 
The famous ‘Wet Republic Pool Party’ has now gained even greater recognition after being associated with the royal romp. I, for one, loved it - It was a great experience and the Lazy River was equally pleasurable. They have recently added newer shops like the famous Sugar Factory and Blizz, and Brad Garret’s comedy Club. Beginning of next year, there are talks of a new thrilling nightclub called Hakkasan. 
One thing is for sure, the Hotel delivers what it promises. Though pricing maybe questionable, it seems worth it after you step out of this amazing luxury resort, taking memories that will last a lifetime!

A little heads up, before you start to exchange your summer sandals for those fall gumboots, think of a self-pampering spree and pack your bags for one quick beach trip! Yes, there may be a more favorable weather and autumn leaves blanketing North Georgia, but in Florida?

Seriously, I’m all for it, anyone wants to join in?
Practically fit, this resort has enormous villas and impeccable accommodation. A fully equipped kitchen, which means you have a washer and a dryer. Doing dishes and laundry seem a little off with the whole vacation picture, but trust me it’s so much better than tacky paper plates which make a greater mess than you think.
Best of all, there are no thinking on money issues; you could spend a small fortune by eating in restaurants three times a day. 
 
Now that is what I call an awesome vacation!
Now moving on from the practicality front, there are so many other reasons for you to be absolutely love-struck, with the gorgeous Ron Jon Cape Caribe Resort.
The villas are not only expansive; they're done up in old Florida decor. I was torn between the choices of a beach-front or pool-front villa as they were both equally inviting!
The resort boasts of a large pool complex and rated as one of the best resort pools in Florida by The Orlando Sentinel. Labeled as "heated and huge”, it includes two huge water areas, where you can enjoy a thrilling game of water volleyball as it is big enough for a volleyball net to stretch over. 
 
Biggest attraction being: the overwhelming 248-foot long waterslide for the teens, kids and kids-at-heart. 
But prepare yourself for more to come – there's also an all-inclusive meandering lazy river, complete with tube aids for better floatation, and even less work on your part. I'm always a fan of the less work, don’t know about other girls. If I have a toss between great mansions and glitz and glam, I would much rather go for a day at the Beach without a moment of hesitation.
Let’s not overlook the other big pool, the Atlantic Ocean out there! 
 
On Ron Jon Cape Caribe's private beach offers many attractive features for you and the family. You can enjoy swimming, kayaking or simply laying on those pearly sands, building sand castles. 
The resort takes on a whole 28 acres, and a good lump of that acreage is mainly sprawled out green space, leaving you a stunning view of a fusion of earthy green against the gleaming white sandy beaches. The spectacular landscape is an added enhancement to the lovely resort.
 A warm sunny afternoon whiling away in the golden haze, with never ending opportunities at Ron Jon Cape Caribe Resort is my idea of fun!

Also, safe eating and drinking should be a top priority. The question is, what foods are safe to eat? Boiled edibles are generally safe and even fruits and vegetables that have to be peeled before eating. Uncooked or under cooked meat should be avoided just to be on the safe side.

Orlando Museum of Art – more soothing than a spa!

Orlando Museum of Art is one of some really soothing, serene, and tranquil retreats on an off day. I came in on a weekday, day-time, where only a few other quiet admirers/observers were there. 
I walked in happy as the student discounted rate of $7 was a refreshing start; let’s not overestimate the pocket of a student and knowing so, the staff was more than cooperative that way. The receptionist is welcoming and friendly and helps you getting your way around. The museum was quiet and on a Wednesday afternoon there weren't too many people present, mainly adults.

The galleries feel very spacious with its tall ceilings and large windows that let warm Orlando sunlight in, giving an ethereal glow to the masterpieces that were displayed before us. Seems like an Orlando paradise, doesn’t it! Some of the artwork in there is so exquisite, falling in perfectly to create a lasting impact on anyone who set eyes on them; makes you wonder what was going through that person's mind as he or she was creating it. It can be very inspiring. 
 
It was the first time I was visiting the Orlando Museum of Art and needless to say, I was simply awe-struck. It housed the works of the finest artists, with each painting a characteristic of the artists’ style and method .The precision of drawing, brush strokes and ideas were beyond inspirational, for the lack of an even better word.

I liked the amalgamation of all sorts of genes in art, ranging from ethnic African jewelry to classical statues/portraits to the eccentric. The traveling exhibit was appealing; it displayed the art of John Rocco – illustrator of the popular Percy Jackson book series. 
 
Exploring the museum took me close to about 2 hours, but that is inclusive of the time I spent coloring pictures of the Mayan Vases in the kid’s area!
The museum catered to the likes of a broad spectrum of visitors, adults and the largely youthful demographic that visited in an on-going basis; for this purpose alone, a hallway featuring artwork from local children was showcased, some of which were excellent creations! Retreats like these are not only visually stimulating, but also educationally enhancing. The gift shop is a good prop they had, offering a diverse collection of gifts and souvenirs for all. I bought Postcards and a lovely glass vase that took me away at first glance! This Orlando paradise is an amazing place to visit!

Disney Typhoon Lagoon

One of the most memorable vacation gateways I recall from this year would be the trip with my family, husband and kids, to Disney Typhoon Lagoon, in Orlando, Florida. It is one of two water parks in Walt Disney World Resort, which presents wide-ranging entertaining offerings. Stretched over 56 acres, It comprises of super-fast waterslides, raft rides, Snorkel Shark Reef, a children play area among many other thrilling attractions. 
 
 Snorkel Shark Reef was another story altogether - It was mini harbor for real sharks, visitors weren’t allowed too close, but it was definitely one of the most thrilling offerings of the Park. Pure glistening waters, home to a school of vibrant colored fish, which swam away like sparkling gems - it was such a visual treat! If you try to sum it up in a word, the only tagline that comes to mind would be: Tropical Paradise!
Upon entering the Park, I was taken aback with its spectacular beauty and just the aura of excitement and thrill that takes over you.

Even though the general stereotype associated with theme parks is that it’s entirely a child’s dream – after having experienced it myself, I would definitely disagree and state otherwise. There is a great deal of tropical lounging for older aged Disney lovers, and marine enthusiasts! There are in total 9 adrenaline-charged waterslides; Castaway Creek and Gang Prank Falls were two rides that we took a trip down together , and thoroughly enjoyed it. 
 
 Followed by Crush ‘n’ Gusher water coaster, one of the newer additions - my husband particularly liked that one.
 Surf Pool was my personal favorite escape; the 6 foot waves were phenomenal, absolutely wondrous! I would often go surfing in the golden sun, while my kids splashed their afternoon away in the children’s play area.
One thing that particularly appealed to me was the fact that it was very family oriented. They had a good mix of everything; like a complete bundle of enjoyment and delight. 
 
 I do however, want to mention that I took this amazing deal online. While surfing for good budget Orlando resort deals, I came across a site that greatly helped me plan our holiday. It features all important and relevant information - a must-see for potential tourists/visitors. My husband and I opted for 4 Day Magic Your Way Ticket for $57 rounding to about $ 15 for a day, which is a fairly acceptable deal for a family.
